Eberbach Monastery, Master Thesis 2021
The Romanesque and early Gothic monastery complex of Eberbach is one of the most important monuments in Europe, due to the tradition of viticulture and wine growing, whereby the monastery has acquired the position of “cradle of Riesling”. Now the Eberbach Monastery Foundation intends to build a new museum in connection with an extensive monastery store. Interesting for this design is the handling of the already existing abbey museum and the new requirements in its size, location and new concepts.
